Shahrzad Roohy Gohar, UQ Business School, Australia
 
Shahrzad is working at UQ Business School, as an Associate Lecturer in Business Information Systems(BIS) and is a PhD candidate. Shahrzad holds a Bsc in computer science and a Masters in IT; also an ACS Certified Professional. Shahrzad has worked in areas of Business Process Management (BPM) and Networks and Systems Engineering in industry and has completed various business process improvement projects for Queensland Government and health sector in the past.
Shahrzad's lecturing expertise is in Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process modelling, and has also experience in teaching BIS and IS analysis and design. Shahrzad's research expertise include Green Information Systems(IS), BPM, visualization of environmental information on processes and Design Science. Shahrzad's PhD project focuses on visualizing Environmental Performance Indicators (EPI) on business process models, intending to help organizations and environmental auditors to identify, measure and visualize the environmental impact of their operations.
Shahrzad is a registered and frequent peer reviewer of AJIS and ad-hoc reviewer for multiple IS conferences. She has served as student representative in several academic recruitment selection committees and has been involved in shortlisting sessions and recruitment interviews. Shahrzad is also an active member of ACS professionals and is a STEM Women mentor, run by the Australoian Academy of Science.
