Bonnie Rohde, Allbright College
Bonnie Rohde is a highly creative, higher education instructor of management of information systems with over ten years of experience teaching in the liberal arts environment of a nationally ranked, accredited, private college. Her research interests include smart city entrepreneurial ecosystems, the ROI of social media in the personal financial and chain restaurant industries, visualization technology for autonomous vehicles, and digital business models in entrepreneurship.
Prior to joining academia, she owned a business consultancy after twenty years of experience in the telecommunication and microelectronic industries of a Fortune 50 corporation. While employed at AT&T, which became Lucent Technologies, she had experience in international marketing, global program management and high-tech device design and manufacturing.
Bonnie is currently a doctoral candidate at Wilmington University and holds an M.B.A. in Management of Information Systems an M.B.A. in International Business, and a B.S. in Computer Science and Marketing. She is certified in Data Science, Project Management and Total Quality Management.
I’m interested in the position of Communications Chair as I held a similar position in our local chapter of the American Business Women Association, I teach social media analytics in my MIS course, I am current Chair of our college’s Information Development Committee, and served eleven years as the Institutional Review Board Chair at Albright College.
